短片记录了牦牛粪的一生，也是牧区生活的缩影。在藏地草原，牦牛粪不仅是常用燃料，更是独特装饰和孩童的游乐场。它藏于草丛，被花草环绕，滋养着草原，草原则养育着牦牛，牦牛的肉、毛、奶哺育着牧民。牧民收集、晾晒牛粪，用以煮饭、取暖，牦牛粪化为灰烬后又回归大地。伴着牧歌，我们以他者视角观察草原上这给予牧民生活和精神上依托的一员。

The short film documents the life of yak dung, a microcosm of nomadic life on the Tibetan grasslands. It is not only a common fuel but also a unique ornament and a playground for children. Hidden in the grass and surrounded by flowers, it nourishes the land that sustains yaks, whose meat, wool, and milk support the herders.

 

Collected and dried by the herders, yak dung is used for cooking and heating, and its ashes return to the earth. Accompanied by herding songs, the film observes this humble yet essential element that provides both physical and spiritual sustenance to the nomads.​
