The short film follows a Chinese-English interpreter working part-time in the UK's NHS. As a cultural bridge, she witnesses the struggles of an undocumented immigrant, a depressed mother, and an immigrant father who was accused of domestic abuse. These stories prompt her to reflect on her own cultural identity. Through a subjective and experimental lens, the film conveys their true emotions and challenges, inviting viewers to consider the complexities of overseas Chinese life.
